Fees.
Running an event on Tixi is free, from end-to-end. We understand events,
and know that good ticketing isn't something that you should have to pay
for. We've put a lot of effort into being different to our competitors
in this way.
At the end of the day though, like any business, we (and the tax
department) do have to make a bit of money. We make this in the form of
booking fees on paid tickets. For example, if you were selling a $30
ticket, you would receive the full $30 but your customers would pay
$32.44. This booking fee covers our system, as well as the credit card
processing fees - there's nothing hidden.
Again, we put a lot of effort into keeping this fee small:
2.4% + $1.50 + GST
If you're not selling tickets for your event, and are instead just
gathering RSVPs, then nobody pays a cent. We kept that fee small too. :)
